- Lead and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, reviewing test plans and debug approaches.
- Execute pre- and post-silicon bring-up, including board initialization, power-on sequences, and processor boot.
- Validate complex datapath flows and port scenarios across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
- Develop firmware, bare-metal tests, and Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) to enable SoC-level validation.
- Build and maintain validation infrastructure, including regression automation and lab equipment integration.
- Debug complex SoC issues across digital logic, firmware, and timing domains using JTAG and trace tools.
Requirements
- BE or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- 9–13 years of experience in SoC pre-silicon and post-silicon validation and bring-up.
- Deep understanding of C, embedded programming, and hardware/software co-validation methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of SoC verification environments, SystemVerilog (SV), and UVM concepts.
- Proven experience with DDR and PCIe protocols.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, or Bash.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running complex validation scenarios on Palladium or other emulation platforms.
