Principal Engineer (Agentic AI)

Responsibilities

• Define the multi-year technical vision and architecture for Yubi's Agentic AI platform, including agent runtimes and LLM integration layers.
• Design and build complex, high-stakes agent systems featuring multi-agent orchestration, long-horizon planning, and tool-augmented reasoning.
• Establish platform-level abstractions and internal frameworks to accelerate agent development across multiple product teams.
• Lead architectural reviews to ensure AI systems are scalable, explainable, compliant, and cost-efficient at scale.
• Drive RAG platform evolution through advanced retrieval, hybrid search, and knowledge graph integration.
• Mentor and coach Lead and Senior engineers, acting as a technical multiplier across the organization.
• Partner with the CTO and VP of Engineering to translate AI opportunities into executable technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of full-stack engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in production LLM or AI agent system development.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate for high-throughput microservices.
• Expert-level knowledge of agent orchestration (LangGraph, AutoGen), RAG pipelines, and LLM evaluation.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js for large-scale frontend architectures.
• Extensive experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and large-scale data pipelines.
• Proficiency in AWS (EKS, MSK, RDS, SageMaker) and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI, including explainability, bias mitigation, and hallucination control.
• B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Tech or PhD in a relevant technical field.
• Proven track record of architecting and shipping production LLM-powered systems handling significant load.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines.
