Principal Engineer - Agentic AI

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production-grade agentic AI systems and workflows to transition customer experiences toward fully autonomous interactions
• Create reusable AI agents for use across Xfinity applications, focusing on the Xfinity Assistant chat experience
• Apply AI across the entire SDLC, including requirements, system design, coding, refactoring, and testing
• Implement agent-to-agent, agent-to-UI, and human-AI orchestration patterns
• Build production-ready solutions with a focus on reliability, scalability, observability, and ethical AI use
• Contribute to AgentOps, MLOps, and AI governance frameworks
• Partner with product, UX, and platform teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality customer experiences

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building agentic AI systems in production or designing and operating scalable, production-grade software
• Hands-on experience with Agent Development Kit (ADK) and proficiency in Python
• Experience with Gemini Enterprise or similar conversational AI platforms
• Strong prompt engineering skills, including experience with evaluation, iteration, and logging
• Familiarity with AgentOps and production monitoring for agent-based systems
• Experience with LLM-as-a-Judge or comparable evaluation techniques
• Proven ability to design complex orchestration patterns between agents, UIs, and humans
