Principal, Employee Relations

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted adviser and subject matter expert to coach employees and managers on sensitive issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and company policy interpretation.
• Assist leaders and employees in applying people tools and procedures to maximize performance, engagement, and legal compliance.
• Analyze data and identify trends to develop proactive solutions that support business objectives.
• Partner with the broader People & Purpose team to implement HR processes and policies tailored to country-specific requirements in the APJ region.
• Lead or contribute to ad-hoc HR projects, reporting, and cross-functional programs.
• Serve as a local liaison for coordinating urgent HR issues as needed.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or HR Business Partner roles.
• Deep knowledge of labour laws, policies, and customs within the APJ region.
• Proven ability to influence and resolve complex, highly sensitive employee issues while maintaining confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within an international team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment for problem-solving and decision-making.
