Principal Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and drive system-level architecture for electrical and embedded designs
• Act as a technical authority in power electronics and embedded systems
• Lead cross-functional teams including ME, ID, Product, and Manufacturing
• Drive engineering rigor in schematic design, PCB layout, and firmware integration
• Lead design reviews and technical deep dives
• Provide mentorship and technical coaching to engineers
• Identify risks early to ensure product performance and compliance
• Champion DFM/DFT and scalable design principles
• Design and develop consumer product electronics from concept to production
• Support DVT, EMC, and regulatory compliance (UL, FCC, CE, IEC)
• Lead prototype development, testing, and validation
• Support field issue investigation and root cause analysis

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering at a senior or principal level
• Deep expertise in power electronics (AC/DC, motor control, thermal systems)
• Expertise in embedded systems design
• Strong experience in analog and digital design, schematic capture, and PCB layout
• Proven ability to lead complex programs through influence
• Experience delivering high-volume consumer products
• Strong understanding of DFM, DFT, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
