Principal Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and guide board-level and subsystem-level electrical architecture across digital and mixed-signal designs
• Drive schematic capture, layout guidance, component selection, and interface definition for processor-based systems
• Ensure designs meet reliability, environmental, and certification expectations for avionics platforms
• Provide technical mentorship to engineers across experience levels
• Work with manufacturing and integration teams to debug, iterate, and refine hardware
• Refine engineering workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred)
• 10+ years of experience designing and integrating PCB-based hardware systems
• Deep experience with digital processor-based systems and mixed-signal design
• Strong schematic and layout collaboration experience using modern ECAD tools (Altium preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical architecture decisions and design reviews
• Experience in regulated, high-reliability, or safety-critical environments
