Principal Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to define financial processes and configure D365 Finance solutions
• Lead full lifecycle implementations, including configuration, data migration, and end-to-end testing
• Design and test D365 customisations and support acceptance testing and go-live activities
• Lead workshops, solution design sessions, and project communications
• Deliver end-user training and coaching tailored to specific client needs
• Act as a trusted advisor to ensure successful delivery aligned with client objectives
• Provide direction, leadership, and mentoring to other consultants

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering full lifecycle D365 Finance implementations
• In-depth knowledge of D365 Finance modules such as General Ledger, AP/AR, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, and Project Management & Accounting
• Strong background working directly with finance teams
• Experience gathering integration and reporting requirements and translating them into technical designs
• Ability to lead workshops and training sessions both in-person and remotely
• Experience leading high-performing teams and providing professional mentorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of business intelligence and AI tools such as Power BI, SSRS, and Copilot
