Principal Digital Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead post-silicon validation efforts and collaborate with architects to develop IP- and SoC-level test plans.
• Own the architecture, development, and delivery of RTOS-based SDKs, including BSPs, HALs, low-level drivers, and middleware.
• Drive first-silicon bring-up activities, perform in-depth debugging, and manage regression testing.
• Develop automated test solutions using Python, FPGA-based frameworks, and NI LabVIEW/TestStand.
• Define characterization and validation test plans in collaboration with hardware and safety teams.
• Lead and mentor a team of validation engineers, providing technical direction and prioritization.
• Perform systematic root-cause analysis to debug post-silicon test failures.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in post-silicon validation leadership.
• Proven expertise in RTOS-based SDK development (e.g., FreeRTOS).
• Deep knowledge of automotive communication protocols including Ethernet (PTP, AN, EEE), CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.
• Strong proficiency in ARM architecture, bootloaders, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Hands-on experience developing automated test solutions using Python or LabVIEW.
• Strong root-cause analysis and debugging skills.
