Principal DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize large-scale Kubernetes environments in production
• Manage stateful workloads including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, and MinIO
• Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and Helm
• Build secure platforms using Kyverno, External Secrets, Cert-Manager, OpenBao, and Keycloak
• Manage networking via Cilium and Traefik, and implement autoscaling with KEDA
• Build observability stacks using Prometheus, Loki, and Alloy
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and build CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines
• Automate tasks using Bash and Python, and administer Linux and Docker environments
• Deploy and operate OpenStack on Kubernetes
• Lead incident response and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

Requirements

• Advanced hands-on experience with Kubernetes (StatefulSets, operators)
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis, and MinIO
• Proven experience with ArgoCD and Helm
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and Azure Pipelines
• Experience with Kubernetes networking tools like Cilium and Traefik
• Expertise in observability tools including Prometheus, Loki, and Alloy
• Operational proficiency with Kyverno, Cert-Manager, External Secrets, OpenBao, and Keycloak
• Capability to use Velero and KEDA for backup and scaling
• Strong skills in Linux, Docker, Bash, and Python
• Experience with OpenStack on Kubernetes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale Kubernetes production environments
• Experience with hybrid or private cloud infrastructures
• Knowledge of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices
• Expertise in security hardening and compliance
• Relevant certifications such as CKA, CKS, Terraform, or OpenStack
