Principal Developer

Responsibilities

• Champion best practices including TDD, pair programming, and design patterns
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to clients and build key relationships
• Assess client needs and develop account strategies and proactive proposals
• Lead systemic change and propose improvements within organizations
• Ensure high performance of delivery teams and manage account risks
• Cultivate team growth and foster an inclusive, supportive culture
• Ensure security, privacy, and legal compliance across the account

Requirements

• Track record of managing the scope and shape of programs of work
• Experience with account management, client management, and pre-sales
• Knowledge of TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation
• Ability to lead, organize, and deliver commitments on time and within budget
• Strong relationship-building skills with senior leaders
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and manage risks skillfully
