Responsibilities

• Represent Temporal at industry conferences, meetups, and workshops
• Create influential technical content including blogs, tutorials, guides, and videos for AI engineers
• Forge ties with AI framework maintainers and open-source communities
• Gather community feedback to shape the product roadmap and developer experience
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales on go-to-market strategies
• Mentor peers and raise collective AI engineering skills

Requirements

• 8+ years as a software engineer with recent focus on production AI
• Proven track record of shipping AI products or features to production
• Demonstrable visibility in the AI engineering community (blog, YouTube, open-source, etc.)
• Experience with LLMs, agents, RAG, function calling, and observability
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript
• Deep understanding of AI agent frameworks and model-provider APIs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience carrying the pager for production AI systems
• Experience building or contributing to AI agent frameworks
• Familiarity with Temporal or experience building AI products using Temporal
• Prior experience in Developer Relations or Developer Advocacy
• Open-source contributions in AI or distributed systems
