Avantos AI is shaping the future of client relationship management by reimagining it through the lens of artificial intelligence. We are building the industry’s first AI-native operating system for financial services, transforming how firms onboard clients, deliver advice, and manage critical servicing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the Avantos design system end-to-end including component library, design tokens, and pattern language
• Set craft direction across the design team through shared patterns and tenets
• Lead design on the Agent Portal, the company's most-trafficked surface
• Author and evolve design tenets in partnership with the Head of Design
• Develop designers through critique, mentorship, and modeling rationale-driven thinking
• Represent design in cross-functional product and client conversations

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience with craft leadership
• Deep expertise in interaction, information architecture, and visual craft
• Proven track record of authoring design systems or patterns
• Mastery of Figma
• Fluency in prototyping, increasingly in code and with AI
• Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor
• Fluency in B2B SaaS or fintech complexity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing AI-native or agentic products
• Track record of building custom tooling with AI
• Experience as an early senior IC design hire at a Series A or B company
