Principal Design Technologist

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end experience design for the Agentic platform, defining personas for patients, enterprise clients, and AI agents
• Partner with technology and product leaders to shape platform strategy and requirements
• Design operator and administrator experiences for platform configuration and monitoring
• Design developer and integration experiences (DX) for APIs, SDKs, and agent interfaces
• Establish and steward the platform's design principles and a shared design system
• Build high-fidelity, code-based prototypes and demos using modern front-end frameworks
• Define transparent and trustworthy AI and agent behavior patterns, including human-in-the-loop workflows
• Provide product design support and refine existing user-facing surfaces

Requirements

• 10+ years in product design or design technology
• Experience leading design for enterprise-level B2B2C SaaS products
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of complex interactive experiences and personal code-based prototypes
• Hands-on ability to build prototypes in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript (React or Angular)
• Experience using AI and agentic coding tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot
• Experience designing AI-powered or agentic user experiences (LLM-driven, conversational UX)
• Experience designing developer experiences (DX) for APIs and SDKs
• Deep expertise in UX, UI, interaction design, and visual fundamentals
• Fluency with design-system architecture and design tokens
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate between design and engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for healthcare or regulated industries (HIPAA/PHI)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design
• Familiarity with modern design-system tooling like Storybook
• Degree in a related field
