About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop product evaluation test solutions for high-performance analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs)
  • Design, develop, and debug cost-effective evaluation test HW/SW solutions for characterization and qualification
  • Define evaluation test methodologies, test plans, and test modes in collaboration with design engineers
  • Create evaluation test schematics and work with layout engineers for PCB creation
  • Program and debug evaluation test programs to correlate results with design engineering simulations using C# or Python
  • Support local and offshore application teams to resolve product use-case questions and problems
  • Assist with customer returns and Failure Analysis teams
  • Manage and maintain project schedules to align with product introduction and release dates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in analyzing and debugging analog and digital circuits, coding, and automation
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, or Python
  • Extensive experience with bench equipment including Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, and Signal Generators
  • Familiarity with PCB schematic and layout tools such as OrCAD or Cadence Allegro
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting test plans and evaluation reports
  • Ability to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience with FPGA, microprocessors, and micro-controllers
  • Understanding of hardware/software interface, optimization, and automation
  • Experience performing statistical data analysis using Excel or other data tools
