About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the circuit design automation strategy for NAND analog/core development, defining a scalable roadmap for agentic workflows and productivity improvements.
- Develop agentic enablement for circuit design, including AI/LLM-assisted flows for environment setup, guided simulation, and automated schematic/layout checks.
- Create Python-based automation frameworks that integrate with EDA tools to accelerate batch execution, regression orchestration, and result triage.
- Architect and standardize methodologies for block, subsystem, and full-chip analog/mixed-signal verification.
- Serve as a technical authority across analog/core teams to solve complex problems at the intersection of circuit behavior and automation reliability.
- Define and enforce quality practices for automation, including testing, CI/CD, coding standards, and version control.
- Partner with circuit designers, firmware, validation, and architecture teams to align tooling with project needs and reduce cycle times.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- 8+ years of relevant NAND design experience, including knowledge of NAND Flash memory read, program, and erase algorithms.
- Proficiency in analog/mixed-signal circuit design (e.g., page buffers, charge pumps, op amps, DACs, ADCs, regulators).
- Strong fundamentals in semiconductor and device physics, including reliability issues like NBTI, EM, and IR analysis.
- Proven proficiency in Python for engineering automation and developing frameworks that interface with EDA tools.
- Experience with Cadence design tools, LVS/DRC, and UNIX environments.
- Strong understanding of circuit verification flows using simulators such as HSPICE, Fast SPICE, and Verilog.
