Principal Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data scientists to foster innovation and excellence.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI/ML-driven initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs into user stories and AI/ML use cases.
• Drive AI/ML adoption across products and platforms, ensuring scalable deployment and integration into workflows.
• Establish real-time measurement frameworks, including KPIs, ML metrics, and model performance dashboards.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, and data teams to define product vision and roadmaps.
• Drive the adoption of modern technologies including Java, Python, Azure/GCP cloud platforms, and MLOps.

Requirements

• B Tech, M Tech, or MCA degree.
• 10+ years of experience in agile delivery, product lifecycle, or related technical roles.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, and Azure Cloud.
• Experience with Rally, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
• Solid understanding of AI DLC, Agile/Scrum, and product delivery.
• Technical understanding of systems, APIs, integrations, and enterprise solutions.
• Proven excellence in communication, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership.
