Principal Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Oversee data acquisition, ensuring data is properly formatted, described, and meets ethics and privacy standards.
• Coach engineers in data cleaning and analysis best practices and identify gaps in current datasets.
• Evaluate team models, recommend improvements, and develop operational models that run at scale.
• Conduct thorough reviews of data analysis and modeling techniques and invent new evaluation methods.
• Research industry trends and technologies to identify strategic opportunities and contribute to thought leadership.
• Define business, customer, and solution strategy goals in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Deliver pragmatic, customer-oriented solutions that align with client data capabilities.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field AND 5+ years of data science experience.
• OR Master's Degree in a related field AND 7+ years of data science experience.
• OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND 10+ years of data science experience.
• 3+ years of customer-facing, professional services, or consulting experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of experience.
• Master's Degree in a related field AND 10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND 12+ years of experience.
