Principal Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects, delivering high-impact AI-driven solutions.
• Design and deliver GenAI/LLM systems, including RAG, summarization, and classification, with robust evaluation methods.
• Build agentic AI solutions and multi-step workflows to automate tasks and enhance decision-making.
• Implement scalable architectures in AWS using services like Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and Redshift.
• Contribute to MLOps/LLMOps practices, including CI/CD, model monitoring, and drift detection.
• Mentor and coach junior data scientists on modeling, engineering quality, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers in an agile environment to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Significant experience delivering applied ML/AI solutions in business settings.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data processing at scale.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong foundation in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Statistics, or Computer Science.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM development, including prompt engineering and hallucination mitigation.
• Experience building agentic systems and workflow orchestration.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services and production ML systems.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated environments.
