Principal Data Loss Prevention Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the existing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environment
• Collaborate with Cloud Support teams on infrastructure-related activities
• Provide support for DLP policy implementations to policy owners
• Troubleshoot issues alongside end-users, desktop management, and policy owners
• Implement changes at the DLP application level
• Plan and execute DLP patching and upgrades for both server and client sides
• Manage client-side deployments in coordination with desktop support teams
• Ensure accurate monitoring, resource management, and patch validation
• Engage with vendors regarding system changes or security incidents
• Maintain up-to-date application and environment documentation

Requirements

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Strong networking knowledge including topologies, TCP/IP, and firewall rules
• Experience with modern Cloud environments (VMs, Load-Balancers, Security Groups, Storage)
• Proven experience using Data Loss Prevention tools and techniques
• Hands-on experience with software installations and upgrades in enterprise environments
• Proficiency in creating and running Ansible playbooks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
