Principal Data Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Run training sessions, workshops, and webinars to help partners become proficient in Snowflake
• Help solution providers and practice leads with technical strategies to sell offerings on Snowflake
• Keep partners updated on product updates and future roadmaps
• Run technical enablement programs and solution design workshops
• Work with large-scale datasets, preprocessing them and creating appropriate data representations
• Assist partners in building solutions using Python, Snowpark, and open source libraries
• Dockerize applications and run Docker images inside Snowflake
• Build industry solutions based on partner and customer requirements
• Build Gen AI-based applications and help partners deploy ML models in Snowflake

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Deep expertise in Data Engineering, Spark, and Big Data
• Strong experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, NoSQL) and data warehouses (Azure Synapse, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and dockerizing Python-based applications
• Knowledge of container networking and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of APIs and building/exposing applications as APIs
• Proficiency in Agile, CI/CD, DataOps, and MLOps
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and distributed computing
• Experience with Big Data/Cloud integration technologies (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda)
• High-level knowledge of ML development and Generative AI deployment
