Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, and execution of state-of-the-art, data-driven solutions leveraging Google Cloud technologies
• Serve as an expert in data transformation, storage, retrieval, security, and governance
• Provide architectural direction and mentorship to engineering teams
• Apply advanced data modeling techniques including 3NF, Data Vault, Star Schema, and One Big Table (OBT)
• Collaborate with clients to define data strategy, governance, compliance, and security best practices
• Design production-ready solutions incorporating scalable ingestion strategies and feature engineering

Requirements

• Proven experience designing data warehouse or lakehouse solutions (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
• Strong expertise in data modeling and solution architecture for performance and scalability
• Experience implementing data quality, security, privacy, and governance controls
• Hands-on proficiency with Python, Java, and SQL
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex concepts to stakeholders
• Strong stakeholder management skills across various business levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dbt Labs, Fivetran, or Snowflake
• Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI)
