Principal Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Define and shape the analytics strategy for one or more games, aligning analytical investment with long-term business objectives
• Identify high-impact, ambiguous problems and drive them from conception to measurable business outcomes
• Implement novel analytical methodologies including statistical modeling, machine learning, and causal inference
• Own architecture-level decisions on modeling approaches, data infrastructure, and measurement frameworks
• Influence senior and executive leadership through data-driven storytelling and compelling narratives
• Mentor and develop senior and junior analysts to elevate the craft across the organization
• Lead the design, testing, and implementation of machine learning models and product features that impact millions of users
• Champion best practices in experimentation, data governance, and analytical reproducibility

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• 8+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles with progressive impact
• Fluency in SQL and strong programming skills in Python
• Deep expertise in statistics, experimental design, causal inference, and machine learning
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with minimal direction
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills for executive-level audiences
• Experience mentoring and growing other data scientists and analysts

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's, MBA, or PhD in a quantitative field
• Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
• Experience in the gaming, mobile, or consumer tech industries
