Principal, Cross Domain Field Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize cross-domain hardware, software, and configurations to support critical field operations
• Manage multiple server stacks, virtual machines (VMs), storage area networks (SANs), and cross-domain appliances
• Perform system patching, full installations, software updates, and backup/recovery tasks
• Support system accreditation events, Site-Based Security Assessments (SBSA), and security audits
• Coordinate with local facility and unit support teams to maintain network and datacenter availability
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues involving hardware, software, and networks
• Monitor system processes and generate status and usage reports using advanced tools

Requirements

• Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance
• Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification (IAT Level II)
• STEM degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Linux+ or experience with Linux system maintenance and automation (BASH, Python, Ansible)
• Experience with structured data standards such as XML, KML, or FMV Metadata
• Proficiency in maintaining VMware virtualization environments
• Military experience with Linux-based Military Intelligence systems and Cross Domain Security Solutions
• Prior military communication experience (e.g., U.S. Army MOS 35T)
