Principal Credit Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own a core analytics domain within Credit Analytics, driving execution and continuous improvement of frameworks for portfolio monitoring and decision-making
• Develop and enhance credit forecasting and valuation methodologies, including loss forecasting and scenario analysis
• Contribute to risk capital analytics and reporting to support funding strategies like securitizations and warehouse facilities
• Translate analytics into business impact by delivering insights that guide product strategy and credit policy
• Partner cross-functionally with ML, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Capital teams
• Build and scale analytics infrastructure including data models, pipelines, and dashboards
• Uplevel analytical rigor and processes for validation and governance of credit models

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in analytics, credit risk, or quantitative finance
• Experience building credit risk/loss forecasting or portfolio analytics frameworks
• Exposure to risk capital or structured finance concepts
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R)
• Experience working with large datasets
• Ability to translate complex analyses for technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience partnering with ML or data science teams
• Familiarity with capital analytics and risk/return frameworks
• Experience building analytics infrastructure or GenAI solutions
• Exposure to model governance, controls, or audit processes
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
