About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic advisor to business owners, using data-driven insights to influence vendor selection and security investments.
- Provide expert security judgment and technical evaluations for third-party partnerships and vendor contracts.
- Align business units with global continuity frameworks such as ISO 22301 and NIST.
- Author and maintain Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and disaster recovery plans.
- Lead the development of Incident Management teams and coordinate IT disaster recovery testing.
- Support M&A activities by performing security risk assessments and designing integration roadmaps.
- Maintain high-visibility dashboards to track security KPIs and project milestones.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Information Security, Risk Management, or Business Continuity.
- Deep understanding of encryption standards, access controls, and data protection compliance.
- Strong working knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF frameworks.
- Experience translating complex technical risks into clear business impact for executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CBCP.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, or PMP methodologies.
- Experience in a regulated financial environment.
- Previous experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) due diligence.
