Principal Consultant, Health Economics & Modelling

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced methodological and modelling leadership on complex, multi-jurisdictional projects
• Act as Project Director on key engagements, ensuring quality, timelines, and financial performance
• Support account and client relationship management while driving business growth and new business activities
• Lead the delivery of projects on time and to a high quality, including writing and presenting proposals
• Take a visible role in developing people, internal methods, and industry standards
• Provide technical leadership and training to junior staff members

Requirements

• 10-15+ years of health economics modelling experience, ideally within a consultancy environment
• Master's degree in health economics, economics, life sciences, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline
• Deep expertise in health economic modelling using Excel, VBA, and R
• Extensive experience with HTA submissions (e.g., NICE, SMC, CADTH, G-BA)
• Proven track record of successful business development and account growth
• Advanced expertise in using generative AI tools for health economics modelling
• Strong experience in coaching, mentoring, or line-managing junior staff

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD or MBA in a relevant field
• Additional European language skills
• Established network within the pharmaceutical industry and the HTA community
• Demonstrated thought leadership through industry publications or presentations
