About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead analytical assessments of airport operations, including traffic profiles, flight schedules, and operational KPIs.
- Deliver capacity and Level of Service (LoS) assessments across terminal, airside, apron, and landside facilities.
- Develop multi-scenario demand forecasts for passengers, aircraft, cargo, and general aviation.
- Build and operate simulation models (such as CAST, AirTOP, or AviPlan) to evaluate system efficiency and resilience.
- Define functional and spatial requirements for airport infrastructure based on demand and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including terminal designers and airside engineers, to ensure integrated planning.
- Engage with airport operators, airlines, and regulators to align on planning criteria and study methodologies.
- Support proposal preparation by contributing planning methodologies and technical insights to aviation bids.
- Provide technical guidance to junior planners to support team capability building.
Requirements
- Degree in Aviation Planning, Transport/Civil Engineering, Architecture, Aviation Management, or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in airport planning, capacity assessment, forecasting, or masterplanning.
- Proficiency in analytical modelling, scenario development, and data interpretation.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with AutoCAD or GIS.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience working with airport operators, airlines, and regulators.
