Principal Cloud Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Architect for the Public Cloud team, mentoring and managing Architects
• Drive application architecture solution design and technology alignment
• Engage with clients to understand needs, present solutions, and lead commercial negotiations
• Craft compelling proposals and responses to RFIs and RFPs
• Support bids by shaping solution design, effort estimates, and transition plans
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and delivery teams for seamless handovers
• Drive innovation in solution design and presales processes
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies such as AI, automation, and cloud-native platforms
• Track and report on presales activities and outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cloud presales
• Strong background in public cloud and Microsoft Azure solutions
• Deep understanding of Application Modernisation and cloud technologies
• Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure architecture certifications
• AWS or GCP certifications
