Principal Category Supplier Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal customers and external suppliers to craft global strategies for a robust and efficient supply chain.
• Source solutions and services, including research on software, IT hardware, and various service offerings through RFx activities.
• Develop category strategies to drive savings, value, assurance of supply, quality, and supplier performance.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and partner with the Legal team to finalize complex contracts.
• Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring accountability, resolving issues, and improving overall performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a role focused full-time on procurement or contract negotiation.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with executives and subject matter experts.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring multitasking with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Senior Category Supplier Manager within the semiconductor industry.
• 3+ years of experience in indirect procurement specifically for software and/or professional services.
• Proven track record of managing and negotiating complex, high-value contracts.
