Principal Business Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support Sourcing and Accounts Payable teams through deep expertise in Ariba upstream and downstream modules
• Drive integrations between Ariba and ERP systems such as SAP S4, PeopleSoft, Vertex, and UI Path
• Provide recommendations for automation and process improvements across Buying & Invoicing, Spend Analysis, SLP, and SCC modules
• Lead requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution design for global rollouts
• Manage offshore delivery teams, oversee workload distribution, and mentor junior team members
• Resolve high-severity incidents within established SLA timelines
• Facilitate workshops and design sessions for new country rollouts and manage all testing phases (Unit, SIT, UAT)

Requirements

• BS in Computer Applications or a related field
• 5-8 years of experience in business systems analysis or lead development roles
• Expertise in Ariba upstream/downstream, CIG, Commerce Automation, and SCC
• Hands-on experience configuring contract templates and approval workflows
• Proficiency in Java, SQL Server, and PL/SQL
• Familiarity with WebLogic, Windows, UNIX, JavaScript, and Shell scripting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience with Ariba version upgrades, service pack applications, and OS migrations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with global stakeholders
