Principal Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end executive and senior-level relationships with frontier AI lab partners.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to identify and drive integrations that improve the developer experience for AI applications.
• Develop and execute joint go-to-market initiatives, including co-marketing programs and joint solution positioning.
• Serve as the internal voice of the partner ecosystem to inform MongoDB’s product roadmap and field strategy.
• Track and report on partnership business impact, including developer adoption, pipeline influence, and co-sell contribution.
• Coordinate across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure execution against partner commitments.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or product strategy at a technology company.
• Deep understanding of AI application architecture and the ability to hold substantive technical discussions with engineers and product leaders.
• Proven track record of managing high-stakes, complex relationships at the executive level.
• Strong strategic instincts with the ability to identify future platform trends and build compelling business cases.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex partner dynamics into clear executive briefs.
• Ability to drive outcomes and build internal coalitions within large, complex organizations.
