About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and win high-value, complex strategic opportunities by uncovering unmet needs and innovation-driven use cases
  • Design end-to-end workflows and technical concepts that influence customer decision pathways and regulatory considerations
  • Lead competitive differentiation by synthesizing technical and market insights into compelling value-creation narratives
  • Guide commercial strategy by defining technical requirements, solution configurations, and pricing logic for strategic deals
  • Shape the product portfolio by identifying market trends and customer-driven signals to influence roadmap decisions
  • Provide technical input to stakeholders and Legal on contract terms to ensure technical feasibility and clear scope definition

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Chemistry, Virology, or a related discipline (PhD preferred)
  • 7+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Proven track record in new business development and managing a sales pipeline
  • Expertise in workflow design, GxP regulatory considerations, and advanced application optimization
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to collaborate with executive and technical stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel more than 50% to support customers worldwide, with an initial focus on the EMEA region
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and structured sales processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in a Contract Research Organization (CRO)
  • Specific experience selling scientific testing services related to cell banking
