Principal, Business Development

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and lead the capture of new business opportunities within the Army tactical communications market
• Meet or exceed annual operating plan objectives through effective business development and capture execution
• Support Strategic Growth Planning (SGP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes
• Develop and brief annual capture plans to business leadership to secure necessary resources
• Prepare and deliver executive-level briefings and presentations to support growth in existing and emerging markets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including account management, engineering, and product line management
• Maintain deep understanding of Army Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) objectives and requirements
• Coordinate growth and capture strategies across the Department of War (DoW) product portfolio

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience, or Graduate Degree with 10 years of experience
• 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to travel 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Army executive agencies and stakeholder organizations (e.g., C2-CFT, ACM-TR)
• Proven track record of capturing new business within the DoW market
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution
• Experience supporting or working with the National Security Agency (NSA)
• Experience working with Army National Guard, Army Reserve, and Active Army organizations
• Prior industry experience in tactical communications or mission command
• Experience working with DoW prime system integrators
