Principal, Business Development and Strategy Services

Responsibilities

• Lead Management Consulting operations in Malaysia with a focus on energy sector strategy and energy transition
• Drive proactive marketing and business development for strategy services to local and international clients
• Manage and mentor a team of junior consultants, ensuring quality control and high utilization
• Act as Project Manager or Project Director for selected strategy and energy projects
• Develop thought leadership materials and collaborate with multi-disciplinary AFRY units
• Coordinate resources for large-scale projects across the APAC region

Requirements

• Higher professional degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field
• Over 10 years of work experience in power utilities, IPP developers, or energy sector consulting
• Proven track record in developing and managing consulting projects
• Strong connections with local energy sector clients in Malaysia
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work independently and lead in a multicultural environment
