Principal Biostatistician - Oncology

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to articulate drug development questions and frame statistical approaches.
• Design clinical experiments and interventional studies to generate and analyze data.
• Co-author clinical study protocols and statistical analysis plans (SAPs).
• Perform statistical analyses for interim and final reports to facilitate program-level decision making.
• Collaborate with Statistical Programming to develop tables, figures, and listings for regulatory reporting.
• Prepare and present findings to project teams, management, and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in research for innovative statistical methods and provide training to non-statistical colleagues.

Requirements

• PhD in statistics, biostatistics, or related disciplines with internship experience, OR an MS in statistics/biostatistics with >5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Expertise in statistical software such as R or SAS.
• Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies, experimental design, and clinical trial design.
• Strong leadership and influence skills with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
• Excellent critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
