Principal Big Data Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems
• Support data-intensive analytics platforms and advanced algorithmic solutions
• Build large-scale data processing environments and real-time applications
• Develop robust back-end services for big data applications
• Work within Linux/Ubuntu environments to support multifaceted software systems

Requirements

• TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
• B.S. in Computer Science or related field with 12 years of experience (or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree)
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and big data services
• Experience developing front-end applications with modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience developing back-end applications using Python and/or Java
• Experience with tiered or distributed architectures
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as Vue.js, PrimeVue, React, or Angular
• Experience working in Linux/Ubuntu environments
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment
