Principal Automation Engineer/Test Architect

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end test automation architecture across mobile, web, and backend services.
• Design and evolve native C# automation frameworks focusing on scalability and maintainability.
• Establish and scale BDD-based automation frameworks using SpecFlow to align business requirements with validation.
• Lead API automation testing for microservices and validate data integrity using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Architect automation-first CI/CD quality gates and integrate them into pipelines like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Enable scalable test execution using Docker and Kubernetes-based test runners.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural guidance, and mentoring senior SDETs.
• Act as a quality and risk advisor within a regulated medical device environment.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, or test architecture.
• Expert proficiency in C# automation development.
• Strong experience with BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow.
• Hands-on experience with Appium for both Android and iOS.
• Proven expertise in API and backend testing.
• Experience working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Strong experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Deep knowledge of automation design patterns and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated domains such as Medical Devices or Healthcare.
• Experience with AI/ML testing, including model validation and accuracy checks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted testing tools to improve efficiency.
