Principal Associate, Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams of data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver high-impact products.
• Build machine learning models through all phases of development, including design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
• Leverage a broad technology stack, including Python and Snowflake, to extract insights from massive volumes of numeric and textual data.
• Work directly with call center operations to streamline processes through summarization and automation using LLMs and transformer architectures.
• Translate complex technical work into tangible business goals and actionable insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, etc.) plus 5 years of experience in data analytics.
• OR Master's Degree in a quantitative field plus 3 years of experience in data analytics.
• OR a PhD in a quantitative field.
• Proficiency with Python, Scala, or R.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and SQL.
• Experience working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or PhD in a STEM field.
• At least 1 year of experience working specifically with AWS.
• At least 3 years of experience in Python, Scala, or R.
• At least 3 years of experience with machine learning and SQL.
• Proven track record of identifying and mitigating risks specifically linked to Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
