About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in CAS meetings with vendors to discuss client services and agency coordination
- Perform special projects for the CAS Deputy Commissioner
- Schedule and organize meetings, including coordinating attendees, speakers, and space
- Maintain the Deputy Commissioner's internal calendar
- Review and screen incoming mail and calls to determine critical priorities
- Prepare confidential correspondence, letters, and memoranda
- Generate and maintain reports containing confidential program information
- Receive and distribute centrally issued funds for CAS activities
- Coordinate out-of-town travel requests and ensure compliance with agency guidelines
- Process CAS training requests for internal and external staff
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree and two years of experience in community work or related activities; OR
- High school graduation and six years of experience in community work or related activities; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in community-centered activities
