Principal Art Director

Responsibilities

• Art direct ideas across all mediums, including brand campaigns, branded experiences, and new product launches
• Own and elevate the art direction and visual craft across all creative projects
• Collaborate with the Design Director to maintain a consistent visual language across all channels
• Lead the development and execution of high-priority projects from initial concept through production and delivery
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create best-in-class advertising and marketing campaigns
• Navigate a complex cross-functional marketing organization to drive creative excellence
• Stay current on visual trends, new technologies, and the competitive landscape to keep work innovative
• Help grow and define the team's design culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, motion design, filmmaking, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience as an art director in advertising agencies (in-house, agency, or freelance)
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful, high-impact campaigns
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and other industry-standard design tools
• Experience in B2B and growth marketing within the tech and social media sectors
• Experience working effectively within matrixed organizations

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Generative AI
• Expertise in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Proficiency working with Keynote and Figma
• Experience in a Google Docs-led project environment
• Knowledge of Frame.io
