Principal Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision and modernization strategy for high-volume commercial lending platforms
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership to develop architectural frameworks for complex business needs
• Define target-state modernization roadmaps, including transition architecture and cutover strategies
• Drive target investments toward modern technologies while rationalizing total cost of ownership and ROI
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Managers to align technical solutions with client needs and regulatory standards
• Ensure all applications adhere to enterprise standards, policies, and industry best practices

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional architecture experience
• Proven ability to lead strategy and resolution for highly complex, large-scale technical challenges
• Experience translating deep technology expertise into scalable, pragmatic engineering solutions
• Ability to work onsite in accordance with the organization's office adherence policy

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience producing architecture roadmaps and implementation plans
• 5+ years of experience within financial services, specifically in payments, commercial deposits, or treasury services
• Strong background in transactional systems, including resiliency, scalability, and security
• Experience creating product-aligned architectures in partnership with product management teams
