Principal Architect - Azure

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to executive-level sponsors and enterprise clients.
• Partner with Sales and Delivery teams to shape solution strategies, technical roadmaps, and client proposals.
• Lead technical requirement elicitation, solution design, and scoping workshops for complex transformation programs.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure solutions, including PaaS, containers (AKS), and microservices.
• Define enterprise-grade standards for Azure architecture, data storage, and integration patterns.
• Oversee technical execution, identify delivery risks, and provide guidance to consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Mentor senior engineers and foster technical excellence and innovation within the practice.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Computer Science or Electronics (minimum 80% aggregate).
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and cloud architecture.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience in Azure architecture and consulting-led engagements.
• Proven experience working with enterprise or Fortune 500 clients.
• Minimum of three Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Application Development, DevOps, AI/ML, or Architecture).
• Deep expertise in Azure Compute, Data storage, Messaging, API design, and DevOps/Platform Engineering.
• Proficiency with .NET Core, C#, and CI/CD/Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-204, AZ-400, or AZ-102.
• Experience with Python or Node.js.
• Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Angular, React, or Blazor.
• Familiarity with mobile development frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
