Principal Applied AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction and implementation standards for internal AI solutions to ensure secure and scalable adoption.
• Lead the design and deployment of internal AI tools, including GPT assistants, AI agents, and automated workflows.
• Implement technical controls, monitoring, and safeguards to mitigate risks such as prompt injection and data exfiltration.
• Develop integrations between AI systems and enterprise platforms, including internal knowledge bases and business applications.
• Partner with Security, Privacy, and Legal teams to ensure all AI solutions align with compliance and regulatory standards.
• Act as a technical advisor to the CISO and business leaders regarding AI capabilities and potential risks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in AI or Machine Learning engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI security controls and guardrails.
• Proven experience designing and deploying GPT-based tools, AI assistants, or agent-driven workflows.
• Strong experience securing and integrating APIs, automation frameworks, and enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with AI model platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI.
• Experience building and deploying systems within cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
