Principal Analytics Architect

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and defining project operating models.
• Lead and assist in sales pursuits, including prospective client calls, writing proposals, and responding to RFPs.
• Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma Computing.
• Design and optimize SQL queries and implement robust data quality and validation checks.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using modern analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Contribute to the development of company data strategy and design analytics centers of excellence.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to provide actionable insights and present findings.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the analytics team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in visual analytics with a proven track record of leading teams.
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Sigma Computing.
• Proficiency in programming and query languages, specifically SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud data warehousing platforms like Snowflake or Azure.
• Strong understanding of BI data modeling and analytics architecture best practices.
• Experience leading sales pursuits and building delivery/sales accelerators.
• Familiarity with ELT processes, modern data warehousing concepts, and Agile principles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-technical stakeholders.
