Principal Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead Omdia's coverage of the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) market by delivering authoritative market intelligence and strategic insights.
• Produce high-quality research deliverables, including market forecasts, vendor competitive analyses, and reports on emerging trends.
• Act as a thought leader for UC&C, presenting to diverse audiences ranging from technical users to senior industry executives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor to help inform their strategic business decisions.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify business development opportunities and showcase research value.
• Contribute to strategic planning by offering insights into client needs and helping drive the direction of the Digital Workplace research team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) ecosystem as an industry analyst or within the digital workplace industry.
• Proven quantitative research skills, including the ability to build and maintain market forecasts and trackers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex ideas for executive audiences.
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
• Experience working with sales and marketing teams to capitalize on business opportunities.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload and meet strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
