Principal Analyst - Billing

Responsibilities

• Manage and support complex billing programs, including DER and other specialized utility programs
• Represent the company on Joint Utility working groups, stakeholder groups, and DPS meetings
• Collect data and create reports for annual and quarterly regulatory filings
• Interpret PSC orders, document requirements, and implement necessary action items
• Support the development and implementation of billing configuration changes to ensure compliance with orders and tariffs
• Analyze data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and suggest process improvements
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support regulatory filings and represent the company at hearings
• Mentor team members and provide training to increase business unit productivity and expertise

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. in a related field plus 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate degree plus 15 years of relevant experience
• Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
