About the role

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of analog and mixed-signal circuit designers on design and methodology.
  • Integrate AI/ML techniques and large language models (LLMs) into analog design workflows for enhanced automation and optimization.
  • Conduct transistor-level simulations and reliability analysis to ensure design robustness.
  • Utilize static timing analysis (STA) tools to validate and optimize circuit performance.
  • Develop and automate design flows using Python, Perl, TCL, and C/C++.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers in new methodologies and best practices.
  • Drive the integration of high-speed PHY designs such as SERDES, DDR, or HBM into SoCs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field (MSEE or PhD preferred).
  • 18-25 years of experience in IC design with a BSEE, or 15-18 years with an MSEE or PhD.
  • Extensive programming skills in Python, Perl, TCL, and C/C++.
  • Extensive experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Proficiency with spice simulators including HSPICE, PrimeSim/FineSim, and XA.
  • Deep knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuit design principles and methodologies.
