About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, simulation, and validation of advanced analog circuits, including DDR I/O interfaces (Rx, Tx, PLLs), Bandgap, and high-speed mixed-signal circuits in fine-geometry processes.
- Develop and optimize high-speed DDR I/O interfaces to ensure signal integrity, noise immunity, and industry standard compatibility.
- Design and enhance analog receiver circuits, including CTLE, VGA, DFE, and slicers, focusing on sensitivity, linearity, noise, and power consumption.
- Collaborate with digital design engineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of analog and digital components.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while contributing to design methodologies and best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive simulations and testing to validate design performance, reliability, and compliance with EM/IR/Aging requirements.
- Create detailed design documentation, including specifications, schematics, and design reports.
- Ensure layouts meet high analog standards for matching and performance.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Electronics/Microelectronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10-15 years of analog circuit design experience, with a strong emphasis on Rx designs.
- Expertise in high-speed DDR I/O interface design and optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of analog Rx design, including CTLE, VGA, DFE, and Slicer.
- Proficiency with analog design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Maestro, Spectre, or HSPICE.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity and general analog design principles.
