About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, simulation, and validation of advanced analog circuits, including DDR I/O interfaces (Rx, Tx, PLLs), Bandgap, and high-speed mixed-signal circuits in fine-geometry processes.
  • Develop and optimize high-speed DDR I/O interfaces, ensuring signal integrity, noise immunity, and industry standard compatibility.
  • Design and enhance analog receiver circuits, including CTLE, VGA, DFE, and slicers, focusing on sensitivity, linearity, noise, and power consumption.
  • Collaborate with digital design engineers, systems engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of analog and digital components.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while contributing to design methodologies and best practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive simulations and testing to validate design performance, reliability, and compliance with EM/IR/Aging requirements.
  • Create detailed design documentation, including specifications, schematics, and design reports.
  • Ensure layouts meet high analog standards for matching and performance.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Electronics/Microelectronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10-15 years of analog circuit design experience, with a strong emphasis on Rx designs.
  • Expertise in high-speed DDR I/O interface design and optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of analog Rx design, including CTLE, VGA, DFE, and Slicer.
  • Proficiency with analog design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Maestro, Spectre, or HSPICE.
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity and general analog design principles and methodologies.
