Principal Analog Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of analog or mixed-signal blocks for battery management circuits from architecture through to qualification
• Partner with Design Architects to propose optimal architectures regarding area, power consumption, and performance
• Translate technical specifications into electrical schematics
• Create and complete circuit verification plans, including PVT, statistical, ESD/EMC, and post-layout simulations
• Validate circuit routing at the layout stage
• Participate in product debug and validation in the lab and support qualification through product release
• Collaborate with global design teams and various technical groups within NXP

Requirements

• 10+ years of analog IC design experience
• Proven experience in one or more domains: ADC design, switch capacitors, high voltage power management blocks, accurate voltage references, CAN interface physical layers, or high side/low side drivers
• Experience with smart power BiCMOS technologies
• Proficiency with Cadence IC tools
• Experience in requirement traceability management and ISO26262
